Limited Lifetime Warranty:
What does your limited lifetime warranty cover?
We offer a limited lifetime warranty on all our Tactical ScanLite products should a consumer have a problem with their light. This warranty includes manufacturers defect in materials and/or workmanship, and malfunction limited to the intended use of the product. Our warranty does not cover abuse or neglect, modification, water submersion, or physical damage to the surface of the flashlight including scratches or other externally exposed parts, which do not affect the light output. Batteries are included.
Can I have my light specially engraved?
No alterations can be done to our Tactical ScanLite lights without voiding out the limited lifetime warranty.
Is the Tactical ScanLite waterproof?
No. The Tactical ScanLite lights are 'water resistant', meaning they are not 'water proof'. They cannot be submerged in water. For example, the light may withstand falling into a puddle, but we do not recommend taking them diving or using them underwater. Doing so would void the limited lifetime warranty.

No, we do not exchange lights for another. You must return to the retailer where it was purchased.

Why do you use NIMH Nickel Metal Hydride batteries in some of your Tactical ScanLite product line?
We use NIMH Nickel Metal Hydride batteries for their long (typically 10 year) shelf life. When one needs a flashlight in an emergency - we want as much a guarantee that it will work as possible. If standard AA batteries are left in a flashlight, their power drains away over time, even if the flashlight is not engaged.
